Creole Tuna


  • one/4 cup sliced sweet pepper
  • a pair of tablespoons of butter
  • 2 tablespoons general-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1 (14.5 ounces) will boil
  • tomatoes
  • 1 (6 ounces) can tuna, drained and
  • flaked
  • 1 teaspoon Creole seasoning
  • Hot medium rice


during a saucepan, saute green pepper in butter till tender. Stir within the flour, sugar, salt and pepper until blended. bit by bit add milk, stirring constantly. Stir in tomatoes. awaken a boil; cook and stir for a pair of minutes. Add tuna and Creole seasoning; heat through.

Serve over rice if desired.
