Golden Cinnamon Granola


  • one/4 cup butter or margarine,
  • unfrozen
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • three cups of old-style oats
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup shredded walnuts
  • 2/3 cup raisins


during a bowl, stir butter, honey, cinnamon, and salt till well blended. mix the oats, coconut and walnuts in a lubricated 13-in. x 9-in. x 2-in. baking pan. Add butter mixture and stir to coat evenly.

Bake at 275 degrees F for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown, stirring every fifteen minutes. Add raisins. Cool, stirring occasionally. Store in an associate degree airtight container.
